On-The-Job Training

Our collaboration with industry will allow students enrolled in our alternative education program to receive on-the-job training in the areas of ground maintenance and AROC’s students will receive firsthand experience performing tasks related to their role from a coworker or supervisor. Through industries collaboration/partners provide a wide variety of careers and industries for our students to receive on-the-job training (OJT), will afford experiential learning used in jobs that involve hands-on work or the use of specialized equipment, software or machinery.

On-the-job training s instruction for employees takes place at work. Our OJT involves a combination of observing others and hands-on experience completing tasks under the supervisor of a training manager, coworker or outsources professional trainer.

The purpose of OJT is to prepare our student to become work ready to become gainfully employed to move from they present state to employability through our partners Internships can be a beneficial experience for people newly entering the professional world or even those seeking a career change. Through an internship you can gain work experience, build your resume and learn firsthand what it would be like to work in a certain role or industry. Internships are also a great way to build connections as you launch your professional career.
