Opportunities begin at Awendaw Outreach Center

 

Our Computer Lab allows students to work at their own pace on their educational goals of GED and high school completion

Robinson, Kathie Livingston of Nature Adventures Outfitters, Tasha Green, DJJ County Director, Ellamae Washington, AROC Director, Dr. S. Pyatt, and Bettye J. Simmons AROC Founder, CEO took part in a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Awendaw Regional Outreach Center.

The AROC was honored to have the opportunity to partner with the Francis Marion Ranger District, working in conjunction with, Janna Dupre Deputy Director of the Sewee Visitor's Center. This agreement commenced in 2014 through September 30, 2016. The Francis Marion Forest Service contributed a total of $11,680.00 to AROC through its generous contribution we were able to hire in-school youths, transform their lives, and put them on the road to a positive and rewarding future. AROC served 11 youth and all graduated form high school and attended various colleges and graduated an on the path to a brighter future.
